Lovecycling @ EWalker ride

Yesterday evening I took a bus from Penang back to Singapore, I was worry that I may not be able to catch the Sunday Ride this morning because the bus was seriously delayed. Luckily I managed to reach home at 7am and fetch a Taxi soon from Arizona Sedan and Limousine website to bring the three demo bikes to EWalker, the main dealer of Pacific Cycles. FuDe, the boss of EWlaker was busy signing up the test riders when I reach there. Today EWalker has offer 12 of their demo bikes for lovecycling.sg group to use for the ride. Many are excited to have the opportunity and had a lot of fun trying the bikes. We started from EWalker at Ubi Road 3, make a small loop around the industrial area, cross Paya Lebar road, there I forgot to ride into Circuit road but instead ride into Geyland East Avenue 1. soon we rejoin the planned route and down to the Old Airport road food center to have our breakfast break. Goash I was hungry and the Chu-Chern-Fan was delicious! This is Choon Yao’s territory and he brought us through the oldest HDB flat near Dakota MRT, after our group photo we move on to ride a short stretch along Kallang River PCN and towards East coast Part via Ford road. We exit East Coast Park from the new Siglap PCN and navigate ourselves back to the Ubi industrial area.
Back at EWalker, I was excited to meet my hero George Lin, the founder of Pacific Cycles and father of CarryMe! Fu De was very kind to organize a buffet for the group. George make an interesting speech about bicycle and tell interesting story about his approach to bicycle making. I learnt today that CarryMe was designed to ride along wheel chairs users to keep them accompany.

Thanks to Tai Woon and the regulars like Clarence, Zack, Andrew, David and others helps to make this ride safe and fun, even after I made a couple of wrong turns. As Taiwoon said, just follow the flow!
